Have you always thought " Hey, I'm nice!! But wtf, why are these people always treating me so badly T.T I was always nice to them. " Well, I can't help you there just yet, but what I can do is give you pointers on how to BE nice.
Always smile ^.^, even if you're having a bad hair day. It won't help by saying " I'm in a bad mood today, it's your fault!! " That gets really annoying. Smiling at people also helps them feel good about themselves! People will want to talk to you more.
Be positive. Usually when somebody asks you something, give a positive answer, not a between the Yes/No answer, or beat around the bush. And don't give a negative answer too.
" Try to talk " This is what our counselling teacher would say. Strike a conversation with somebody, introduce yourself, and ask them about your day. Before you know it, you'll have a good social link with people in no time.
Express your opinions and suggestions. This is a basis for employees who wants to get a promotion and a raise. When you give out suggestions, it shows people that you care for that certain something, people will look up to you as a leader. Don't be afraid of contradicting anybody, just let it out. That person would be a fool if he hates you for giving an opinion, That GUY doesn't deserve to be a friend.
Never backstab or backbite. Even if you're closest friends does someting bad that you hate, it doesn't do any good to talk bad about them, it gives the listener an impression that you are not an honourable guy. Backstabbing just mean and uncivilized.
Don't lose your temper. Be patient, It's hard, I know. Try this, if you're standing, then sit, If you're sitting then lie down. Drink a glass of cold water and count from one to ten.
Be nice to " uncool " people. There are a lot of people who, unfortunately, may not be so handsome or smart or are ugly. It will make people really touched, that you care for these kind of people. God made us all destined for good things in the future, but it all depends on themselves. You're a fool if you think that you are too " good " or " smart " to hang out with these " Low class " people.
Finally, and most importantly, be yourself. But, remember to be courteous and civilized as well.
